I am so pleased to announce that I won 2nd place in the “2012 Black and White and Alternative Photographic Processes” contest in Rangefinder Magazine. I have never entered a contest like this before, and the momentary whim that urged me to do so resulted in something delightful! Rangefinder Magazine is “The Magazine for Professional Photographers,” and thousands of photographers had entered at the time that I decided to as well. I am proud that the editors and panel responded to the portrait that I entered. One of my fellow winners is a Pulitzer Prize winning photographer. I am truly honored to be recognized.
Here is a link to the digital magazine, but the hard copy is on the stands now!
